Human Cry Response Team
IMPORTANT:
The HCRT is currently still just a big idea. Nothing has yet been put into practise. The whole thing, including this page, is to test whether people want this system implementing and whether people are willing to sign up to it if come into practise.
Read the following topics to get the background on the HCRT (Human Cry Response Team). Topic 1 and Topic 2.
Basic Summary
It should not be the case that we lose control of our streets at night to criminals and lawless teenagers. That is not good enough. Seriously, it is a huge failure on the part of modern parenting, modern policing and modern community action. Do we let it get worse? Do we have blind faith in our over-stretched police? Or do we actually offer our services as a collective, peaceful presence on our streets?
Here are the key ingredients in creating a successful human cry response team:
Members should have…
- basic lessons in self defense
- basic training in defusing aggressive situations
- willingness to stand up on court and testify against criminal activity
- proper SMS subscription service ensuring fast, bulk message sent to all registered and trained HCRT members.
- support and advice from police
