Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
well ... im not putting this in this thread because i like the music as such .. although its a great tune, that is not in doubt ,, when i was a kid this was the first film i ever saw that when it had finished i was dumbfounded .. and my dumbfoundedness ( i think ive invented a new word there)was serenaded by this haunting tune ... later in life i got to see the great Larry Adler playing the 'gob iron' ... i am truly blessed

Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
Got to admit Mick, Bowie was special............I remember getting the Hunky Dory album that was brilliant all the way through
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
Local... every single song on that album is brilliant .... you cant say that about any other album before or after that ... cept may be dark side of the moon... it must be the best album of all time
i embraced the nuro boy stuff alot in the 70s an 80s ... the chicks seemed to dig it ... but im a rocker at heart
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
Thanks for the Bowie
This reminds me of the eighties and a club we used to go to with a massive video screen .... this was one of the most played videos
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
when most people think of sad cafe they recall 'everyday hurts' .... great tune ... but imo this is better
Rolling stones influences ?
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
love them or loath them ... this is a great pop song
i wish the younger end would join in with this thread ... otherwise we are just gonna end up with older stuff ... i can do up to late 90s then im lost .... come on kids !!!
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
Mick, I was gonna post that very soft cell song next .... great minds
Re: Royton Rebel's music thread
