did anyone have the same person calling to see them; I opened my door to a man who asked me who the car belonged to on the drive I said a family member and why he said I am doing window security etching i will do the car for i think £15 I asked family member they said no it was all marked up anyway I told the bloke who wasnt taking no for an answer he dropped it to £12 then £10 I said that they didnt want it doing at the moment he said can I speak to them I said no they are busy at the moment but I would take a card and ring him when I was ready, he said no you cant have a card as it wasnt worth the bother to come back and a waste of petrol for him to that my answer was well if you dont want the business then dont bother but me having a suspicious mind thought if I had given him the car keys would he have stolen it as there where 2 cars there and he picked the better one of the 2 that he wanted to etch strange ???????????????

Todmorden to be precise had a royal visit yesterday, prince charles visited the town on his train journey around britain, he stopped to see the towns efforts to promote vegitable growing, they have placed raised planters along the pavements to grow them and are free to be picked by residents, info sheet tell people how to cook them.... they have plots in cemetary's and along the canal growing beans and tomatoes, peas, onions and potatoes carrots and salad stuff.

He later went to M/ch to see a monastry at Gorton that has been restored- how marvellouse.

World war 3 - the flea collar

Thought it was time the fur balls had a new collar and picked two up in Asda. Moggie one, easy peasy, cat thought it was a stroking session. Cat two, oh dear me. Was probably my fault by starting this when he had curled up on my lap. Within seconds he clocked what was going on and tried to leg it. I caught him by the tail. His claws retaliated by piercing my -------. Somehow my hand and the cats head finished inside the collar with my hand coming a poor second. Teeth were now being used and the creature was waling and spitting like a tasmanian devil. I decided to postpone the proceedings and tend to my wounds.

Since then he has not let me get within two yards of him, except once when he was asleep only to let him slip through my hands like an England goalkeeper.

So we have now come to an agreement on the matter - I don't think he has fleas anyway.

Poorly pet

The dog is feeling sorry for himself as he had to have stones removed from his bladder yesterday. Getting lots lots of TLC after a worrying time as he is 14 1/2 years old. He moving about but not interested in any food yet. May have to ring vet for advice tomorrow if he still turns his nose up to any.

Basically, green slips at Hollingworth are points that you get for behaving well ... and what to points make? And so on... So, I got a green slip today from my form tutor, Miss Bold. She gave it me because I interpreted what the phrase
"No one ever ruined their eyesight by looking on the bright side"
I figured out that it meant...
"No one ever damaged themselves by being optimistic" - and I got it right. So yeah. Woo .
